Whether you’d like to know how to access support, what to expect when you arrive, how to donate, or how to get involved as a volunteer, you’ll find the information below.
If your question isn’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’re always happy to help.
No. At our Foodbank, you don’t need a referral — just come along during our opening hours. We want to make sure support is as simple and accessible as possible.
We’re open every:
Tuesday and Friday from 12pm – 2pm
The Salvation Army Hall, Lonsdale Crescent, Burntisland, KY3 0BN
You’ll be welcomed by one of our friendly volunteers. We’ll ask for a few details — such as your name, address, and how many people are in your household (including pets) — so we can provide the right support.
We provide a balanced food parcel, including cupboard staples (such as pasta, rice, tinned food, and cereal) as well as household essentials when available. Donations vary week to week, but we do our best to provide a good variety.
Yes. If you can’t attend in person, a friend or family member can collect on your behalf as long as they know your name, address, and how many people are in your household (including pets).
Food donations can be dropped off during our opening hours. Our most needed items change week to week — check our social media for updates.
Yes — financial donations are always welcome and help us buy essential items when stock runs low. You can get more details below
At Burntisland and Kinghorn Foodbank, our dedicated volunteers are the lifeblood of the organisation.
Each week, these amazing volunteers pack food and grocery orders to distribute to families in need. They handle every aspect of the process, from sorting items and stocking shelves to carefully packing the groceries.
If you are interested in becoming a regular volunteer, please fill out the volunteer form available on the volunteer page and send it to volunteer@bkfoodbank.org.uk.
